Position SummaryWhat you'll doWalmart Global Governance Digital Citizenship is in search of a seasoned Manager of Controls and Monitoring . The highly qualified candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation, backed by a robust background in compliance and technology. The selected candidate will work closely with Walmart Global Technology to define, implement and maintain technical controls that facilitate continuous monitoring of policy-based controls encompassing both Technology and Data Governance. This position plays an essential role in ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing data privacy, and maintaining the highest standards of digital citizenship. The Technology and Data Compliance Team oversees the development and execution of comprehensive digital compliance operations globally for Walmart's technology teams.What you'll do.
Collaborate with Walmart Global Technology to establish and manage robust technical controls that allow for continuous monitoring.
Support and foster a strategy for continuous monitoring of controls, leveraging technology to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Work closely with the data governance team to ensure data privacy standards are met and monitored.
Collaborate with the policies and standards team to define and implement success metrics for controls and control effectiveness.
Support the execution of Audit MAPs (Management Action Plans) for the Digital Citizenship Technology and Data Compliance Program, ensuring timely completion of all MAPs.
Partner with team members, fostering a culture of candor, mutual trust, and shared vision, and consistently achieving exceptional results.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Advanced degree.
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a large-scale, complex organization.
Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Proficient in using technology to implement and automate monitor controls.
Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and/or Mandarin) highly preferred.
Proven hands-on experience building analytics dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI/AuditBoard).
PgMP / PMP certification or appropriate Industry certification is a plus.
