Description We are offering a contract for a Systems Administrator role in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is within the Financial Services industry and involves managing both on-site and Azure-based infrastructures, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our IT systems, and providing support for cloud and on-site solutions. Responsibilities: Administer and ensure high availability and performance of on-site and Azure environments Oversee key Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Security, Azure AD, and local Active Directory Develop and deploy automation scripts using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Power Automate to optimize workflows and system processes Implement security best practices for both cloud and on-site infrastructures Ensure system compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies Proactively monitor system performance and resolve issues Collaborate with different teams to troubleshoot and resolve escalated problems Manage Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Defender, and Office 365 ecosystem applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Support and optimize database administration tasks Utilize Cisco technologies and cloud technologies for network troubleshooting and content management Manage IDP solutions like OKTA and cloud content management tools such as Box. Requirements Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies is required. Proficient in Cloud Technologies, particularly in the context of financial services. Must possess strong skills in Cisco Networking. Demonstrated experience with Azure Storage is necessary. Familiarity with Azure Active Directory is a must. Proven expertise in Database Administration. Experience with Intune is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Defender is essential. Skilled in using Microsoft Power Automate. Knowledge of Okta is required. Understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in the financial services industry is necessary.
