Construction Superintendent

General Construction Company, specializing in high-quality custom homes, renovations, and a variety of commercial construction projects, is seeking a full-time Construction Superintendent.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Oversee the simultaneous construction/renovation of multiple projects by scheduling, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality standards and project schedules are met.

Provide detailed daily project reports and consistently communicate progress and/or delays with the project manager.

Ability to be an effective problem-solver and address schedule delays, emergencies, or other daily issues that may arise.

Ensure project compliance with HIOSHA safety and County building codes.

Must have a proven track record of working on high-end residential/commercial construction projects.

Ability to successfully coordinate schedules, workforce, equipment, and resources.

Familiarity with project management skills, including SOW and timelines, and understanding of budget management.

Skills and Qualifications required:

Possesses strong communication skills and practical listening skills.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to climb ladders safely.

Able to use computer efficiently and navigate software and server files

Experience working with Microsoft Office and other general computer software

Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively work with others and delegate tasks

Exceptional time management skills

Demonstrated technical skills and understanding of construction methods, contracts, and blueprints

Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency

5+ years of construction management experience
