Position Description:

  • Support the Regional Office in developing short, intermediate, and long-term professional development and TTA planning that addresses OHS priorities and initiatives.
  • Provide effective management and coordination of regional TTA services that ensures the provision of high quality, responsive and coordinated TTA services and contract deliverables, timely communication and resolution of quality concerns and issues.

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes.

  • Implement and oversee a system of ongoing supervision and coaching for all TTA specialists that supports ongoing professional development and performance improvement.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of OHS required reports including but not limited to the Annual Regional Professional Development (PD) plan, monthly and quarterly aggregated TTA plans, and grantee-specific TTA plans and activity reports.

  • Implement data analysis and reporting processes that inform and improve the quality, responsiveness, and effectiveness of training and technical assistance services.

  • Participate in national and regional work groups and meetings as directed by OHS.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to program design and management from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Knowledge of Head Start performance standards and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

  • Experience with project management, Head Start/Early Childhood Education, and knowledge and experience working with children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
