Artisan Bread and Pastry Baker
Wild Flour Bakery is a growing artisan, wholesale bread and pastry bakery located in the Upper Holmesburg section of Philadelphia. We are currently looking to hire for our bread and pastry production department.
Our ideal candidate would have previous baking and/or food preparation experience. Students are welcome to apply. We are looking for individuals who:
- Pick-up tasks quickly
- Are reliable
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Have experience working with yeasted doughs and/or pastries
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Be comfortable on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Possess strong communication skills
The bakery gets extremely hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. Please keep in-mind this job is very physically demanding. Hours initially available are second-shift and a minimum of 30-35 hours a week. Work days are Tuesday - Friday. We do work some holidays.
You must have reliable transport (we are 20 approx minutes from Center City, SEPTA from Center City takes about an hour). Prior experience in a similar position is required.
