This position will manage software assets and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.Responsibilities include:

Lead the development and implementation of software cost optimization strategies across the organization.

Providing regular reporting and analysis on software usage, compliance, and cost optimization to senior leaders.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align SAM initiatives with business objectives.

Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating new methodologies and technologies into SAM processes.

Work with Microsoft SPLA Compliance and Reporting.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:California: $128,400 to $266,040Colorado: $116,760 to $221,880New York City: $140,040 to $266,040Washington: $128,400 to $243,960Washington DC: $128,400 to $243,960This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience with strong background in software asset management.

Prior experience conducting software license audits with one of the Big 4 audit firms.

Expert in creating software vendor inventory baselines with a proven track record of identifying and implementing cost saving opportunities for vendors like Microsoft, IBM and VMware.

Specialist in Microsoft SPLA Compliance and Reporting Requirements.

In-depth knowledge of software licensing models, cost optimization strategies, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in processing complex data sets and compiling accurate software compliance positions.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to operate effectively across a global organization and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Able to influence without direct control and demonstrate developed decision-making capability including negation and collaboration skills.

Strong critical thinking skills

Detail-oriented, flexible and ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels.

Ability to proactively solve problems to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrable experience
