OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring a Technical Analyst to join our Agile development team in support of our nation’s Veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs. This team is responsible for the creation and maintenance internal business solutions designed to enhance business processes and provide key performance indicators and metrics to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has expertise in working within an Agile multi-disciplined team and Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This position will be located in the USA and will be a fully remote position with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, including SCRUM.

Assist in defining technical requirements for application features and capabilities.

Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle under the guidance of senior team members.

Aid in the validation and testing of application functionalities to ensure they meet quality standards.

Help troubleshoot issues and contribute to failure analysis efforts.

Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, business analysts, and QA testers.

Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.

Contribute to the development of training materials and assist in presenting them to internal teams.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific/technical field.

5+ years of experience in a technical or engineering role.

Basic understanding of software development and Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with Power Platform technologies is a plus.

Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Effective team player with strong problem-solving abilities.

Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
