This dual-role position offers the chance to assist chairside during dental procedures while also playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including setup and cleanup of treatment rooms.

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort.

Take and process dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Manage inventory and order clinical supplies as needed.

Front Office Duties

Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience.

Schedule and confirm appointments using practice management software.

Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Verify insurance benefits and handle billing inquiries.

Collect payments and manage accounts receivable.

Answer phone calls, emails, and other patient inquiries promptly.

Qualifications

Completion of a Dental Assisting program

X-ray certification

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Proficiency in using dental practice management software

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or Front Office Coordinator in a dental practice.

Familiarity with dental insurance billing and claims.

CPR certification.

Work Environment

Combination of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office.

Requires periods of standing, bending, and lifting light objects.
