Description:Hybrid role in Waltham, MA. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead our client's front and middle office implementation aspects of the Clearwater platform. The person should be well-versed in Investments processes and knowledgeable about Investment Book of Record (IBOR) principals. The person will be responsible for reviewing current state processes and developing/implementing plans for future state improvements that leverage the Clearwater platform.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $65 - $80 / hr. w2Responsibilities:
Demonstrates ability to influence decisions made by the business as related to given projects in the areas of functionality and process.
Able to identify when a project is off course and provides direction to the team to change the project plan for successful delivery.
Participates in system requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide business applications.
Solicits business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover business requirements, such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, and workflow analysis.
Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates and tools and is a key contributor in the definition of what the appropriate templates and tools are.
Provides mentoring and direction to other business analysts in areas of development methodology and business processes.
Coordinates the efforts of other Business Analysts within assigned projects
Makes recommendations and influences outcomes regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups.
Initiates and leads work with other development groups to ensure an integrated business solution
Represents enterprise business needs on project teams.
Demonstrates a clear and exact understanding of FM Global’s business and business processes.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred
8+ years of general business analysis experience with 3+ years experience in project management
Extensive experience gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business
processes.
Highest level of deductive and logical skills.
Proven ability to work in technical environments that use tools involved in data flow diagramming, data analysis, issue tracking, and documentation and presentation.
Proven ability to implement the correct solution related to the business need.
Proven experience with managing projects of considerably large scope and complexity with projects teams of 20+ individuals.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
