Job DetailsJob Location: NEW YORK CITY - NEW YORK CITY, NYPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $60.00 - $72.00 HourlyConstruction Safety SpecialistUrban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals to join the Facilities CM Department as our Construction Safety Specialist. This position will be responsible for conducting construction site safety audits. Responsibilities Audit the construction safety performance of contractors at JFK on behalf of the owner. Perform daily safety walks of all assigned areas of construction and demolition. Including all roadways, utilities, terminal and airfield construction operations. Audit contractor performance for conformance to all applicable OSHA and NYC DOB chapter 33 requirements. Prepare a detailed daily report of all workers on site with pictures and captions highlighting safety performance and issues and follow-up actions taken. Responsible for confirming OSHA compliance of staff and site safety and reviewing safety plans Requirements OSHA 30-hr Construction Safety & Health Certificate is required. 10-20 years of construction site inspection experience. A valid driver's license. Ability to fill requirements to obtain SIDA badge.
