Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Johnson Memorial Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Medical Office Coordinator to join our Wound Care Center Team located in Enfield, CT.The Front Office Coordinator responsible for day-to-day functioning of Wound Care front office. This is a per diem position and will be scheduled as needed. The hours are M-F 8-4:30.You Will Be Responsible For:

Contributes to overall quality of care by treating all patients with respect and dignity.

provides exceptional customer service in person and over the phone with patient, staff, and family members.

registers patients, verifies insurance

handles incoming and outgoing mail,

maintains general and clinical files, drafts correspondence and reports

completes charge entry and reconciliation between wound center and hospital and records submission

Maintains proficiency with office computer systems. Performs clerical duties in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborates with clinical team

Requirements:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree preferred.

Three (3) years' experience coordinating daily office operations.

Excellent communication skills including verbal and written and implementation of these skills in telephone and interpersonal conversations.

Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment. Accuracy and dependability required.
