Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Chief Technology Officer for a Full Time assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Tech clients in Alpharetta, GA. Rapidly growing healthcare technology company is looking for a hands-on CTO to oversee the company's innovative software development and technology infrastructure and ensure alignment of technology with business objectives. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. This is a unique opportunity, during a stage of rapid growth, to meaningfully participate in the company's success. Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and enhance the software development process
  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all technology enabled solutions
  • Identify opportunities for innovation to drive better performance and competitive differentiation
  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs
  • Communicate the company's technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders
  • Recruit, supervise, and mentor internal and external developers, database architects, network engineers and other technical resources
  • Integrate sales, customer service, financial reporting with software
  • Establish, enforce, review, and improve IT policy and procedures including HITRUST and HIPAA compliance and other security procedures.
  • Enhance infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality and scale
  • Provide direction/consultation to IT team on the tactical application of cloud architectures and the strategic direction of enterprise technology
  • Provide strategic and actionable ideas for innovation and business capability development
Required Skills:
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, very responsive, hands-on (i.e. ability to code) and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment
  • 10+ years of experience managing a technology team and software development, including offshore contractors/employees
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (ideally experience with EMR integrations and/or Value Based Care)
  • 5+ years experience with .NET development, SaaS, PHP, React, Angular, and web-applications
  • Private equity or high growth company experience
  • Ability to prepare budgets and business plans
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven leadership abilities with high-performing teams
  • High emotional intelligence
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
