Swimming Pool Superintendent

Waterworks Industries is one of the leading Commercial Pool Builders on the West Coast. We are seeking and have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Superintendent. Position requires providing supervision and oversight of new construction and renovations of commercial and public swimming pools and aquatic facilities in Northern California.

Required Qualifications:

Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Fluent in English: reading, writing and speech.

Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Proficient at reading and understanding plans, specifications, RFI’s, Submittals related to each project.

Current OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid training certifications considered a plus but not required.

Experience with Bluebeam or Acrobat DC (Pro) also a plus but not required.

Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech.

Ability to manage time and multiple priorities while adapting to changing demands and priorities.

Strong analytical and construction skills in evaluating situations.

Ability to receive, understand and communicate information and ideas clearly.

Duties include:

Scheduling & Managing Crews & Sub contractors.

Complete pool construction - all phases from plan review to customer orientation

Communication will all parties (Customer, subs, crews & office)

Job site visits (daily)

Excellent Customer Service

Majority is supervisory work, but must be willing to work, assist, and get the job done.

Applicants for this position must have a minimum of five (2) years of experience in a supervisory construction capacity. Project Superintendents will require having direct experience overseeing swimming pools and related recreational water systems. We build and renovate pools of all shapes and sizes to include skimmer style, gutter and rim flow pools, spas and water features. We perform commercial and public work projects throughout California. Full time salaried position. Salary is open and BOE.

The most qualified candidates will have a good understanding of survey, earthwork, concrete, shotcrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing and the installation of various architectural finishes.
