Systems Engineer

Don't wait - submit an application today!Your responsibilities- Administer and control all installed systems and infrastructure- Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools- Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Hold up redundancy strategies, backup, and security- Lend a hand to the design of information and operational support systems Requirements - IIS experience preferred- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server- Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred- Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS)- System Monitoring experience highly desired - This position requires a candidate with experience with virtualization and containerization - This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has solid scripting skills - Experience with automation software - Candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks will be the best fit for this position - Applicants should have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems - Experience with monitoring systems - This position requires a candidate with solid networking knowledge Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
