Job Summary

Interact with and assist customers with order placement and pick up. Coordinate with the kitchen to pack all finished orders with appropriate accompaniments. Support kitchen operation during peak times.

Essential Job Functions

Serves food and beverage items at the counter to customers and delivery drivers in a fast, professional, courteous manner.

Replenishes all stock items as needed.

Performs all cleaning and sanitizing duties at all times.

Receives payments from customers and delivery drivers. Handles cash, makes change, and charges debit/credit cards.

Cleans and organizes storerooms.

Organizes incoming inventory.

Performs all proper sanitation and food handling procedures.

Completes shift opening, closing and side work duties as assigned by management shift leads.

Complies with all Sedona Burgers and Dogs safety policies and procedures demonstrating safe work practices. Identifies and reports unsafe or hazardous work conditions. Reports all workplace injuries and illnesses to the supervisor.

Promotes the Sedona Burgers and Dogs’ mission and values and demonstrates the importance of providing quality service to customers and co-workers.

Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Secondary Functions

Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Tools, Equipment, Vehicles, and/or Machinery

Essential job functions require the use of a telephone, dishwasher, kitchen hand tools, and cash register/POS computer system.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Essential job functions require ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, ability to work with a considerable amount of standing, walking, stooping, bending, talking, reaching, and hearing. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 lbs. in a fast paced work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Possession of a valid food handler permit.

Working knowledge of food service counter help or other customer service related positions preferred.

Excellent customer service skills.

Accurate cash handling and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to speak and read English.

Ability and skill to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, and employees.

Ability to perform essential job functions.
