Network Administrator

Description Robert Half Technology is searching for a Network Administrator interested in joining an expanding organization! To excel in this position, you should be a results-oriented problem solver who is passionate about establishing and sustaining a stable network infrastructure. You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will be working with are constantly changing. A key part of this role will be participating in ongoing education to remain up to date and fully informed. This Network Administrator role, located in the Memphis, Tennessee, area is a full-time opportunity.Responsibilities- Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and procedures- Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades- Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures- Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems Requirements - 5+ years of relevant experience- Experience with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations- Previous experience in production environments and being on-call- Network architecture experience preferred- Proficiency in network design- Network Security experience- Strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
