Java/PeopleSoft Developer Remote or in Chattanooga, TNJob role/responsibilities: Provide support in developing design and program specifications Develop program specifications and validate program accuracy by preparing unit test plans/scenarios and evaluating results against plans Provide support to systems analyst in determining appropriate technical solutions Able to develop code for the medium to complex programs Act as a resource to guide, instruct, and / or monitor team members in coding techniques, technical and user procedures, and established standards Modify new or existing programs to reflect changes in systems requirements Prepare work unit packages which include: source code, documentation, unit test data/plans, debugging, and evaluating test results against expected results Complete evaluation, coding, testing, and documenting of solutions to SIRs Perform assigned maintenance to project libraries and data files, to help ensure program code and file are available for use Document and resolve work unit issues Must have ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelors degree, or commensurate years of experience 5+ years experience with Java development 2+ years experience with PeopleSoft developmentStrong Experience in Java programming, Custom apps development and support, integration with ERP systems in a complex PeopleSoft environment Please note that all resources providing application support for this project will be required to complete a drug screen for illegal drug use.Skills/Exp:Mandatory-2-4 yrsJava Programming language: P3IBM WebSphere Application Server: P3 Web Services : P2PeopleSoft development: P2 Integration Technologies: P2Reporting technologies P1"Bachelor DegreeThe Programmer 1 is responsible for activities such as program design, coding, testing, debugging or documentation.
