Drafter / Architect in Training

LTS Architecture is looking for a hard working individual to immediately fulfill our needs for a full time Architect in Training or Drafter. A good Architect in Training applicant is currently enrolled in the IDP, has a professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school, can lift 44 lbs, is very proficient in Excel and has construction experience. A good Drafter applicant is awesome at AutoCAD, can lift 44 lbs, is very proficient in Excel and has construction experience. We are a boutique architecture firm specializing in high end residential structures and light commercial buildings. Our humble office is in the Old Lincoln School in Livingston, MT on the corner of B and Lewis, room 102.

Job Description:

- Working with other team members to create Construction Documents

- Entering project related information into Excel and Word

- Creating invitations to bid and Applications for Payment

- Tracking the Construction progress

- Measuring buildings to create "As-built" drawings

- Doing misc. construction work occasionally to keep a job moving forward - This will constitute about 20% of the overall time

Requirements

- Hard working

- Friendly with a positive attitude

- Very detail oriented

- Willing to learn our drafting format

- Organizational skills

- At least 2 years experience with AutoCAD is required

Compensation: Salary DOE, Health Insurance Stipend after probation period, and Vacation/Sick Leave/Retirement Match/Bonuses after 1 year

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
