After-school program staff needed: Northgate/Maple Leaf area

We are currently looking for an energetic, reliable and creative person to join our team at Collaboration Station located at Olympic View Elementary in North Seattle.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 2:00pm - 5:30pm and Wednesday 1:00pm - 5:30pm. There is opportunity for additional hours during school closures, breaks, and summers.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise all program children at all times to ensure their safety and well being

- Actively engage with and serve as a positive role model to children

- Be willing to lead games, crafts, and organized activities with groups of children

- Provide homework support when needed

- Prepare, serve, and clean up after snacks, as well as general cleaning

- Establish and maintain quality relationships with children and families

- Work as part of a team, accept direction, and also self-direct and take initiative

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age

- TB test must be completed before start of work

- Must pass Criminal Background check

- Meet all applicable licensing regulations as instructed and complete all the required training

- Attend staff meetings

Prior experience working with children is a plus!
