Now Hiring: Dishwasher and Cleaner at Jimmie Jack’s Alaska SeaScape Lodge (Kenai)

We're looking for a dishwasher and cleaner who is eager to uphold our commitment to excellence and ensure the happiness of our guests. Immerse in the beauty of Alaska while delivering an experience our guests will reminisce for years to come.

This is a Seasonal position from late May to the first week of September.

Responsibilities:

Keep the lodge garage neat and tidy at all times: shelves, floors, sinks/counters, freezer and rugs.

Sweep, vacuum and mop daily.

Take out all trash as needed.

Assist staff with putting groceries away, stocking the garage shelves, tidying up boots, raingear, fishing rods, etc.

Manage all dishwashing and assist dining room staff when needed.

Clean and disinfect all fish coolers each day.

Clean all guest lunch coolers, prep for next day’s trips.

Replenish the lobby snack table: Stock the chips basket, fruit basket, and place extra water bottles on the table.

Clean and disinfect the fish freezer at the end of each day.

Additional Responsibilities:

Wipe down all sinks, counters, and put away dishes/pans.

Sweep and steam floors.

Take out any trash and put new liners in trash cans.

Straighten lodge seating area after guests go to bed.

Put kitchen rags and towels to wash.

Job Description:

Arrival: 5:00 pm

Hours: No more than 30 hours per week.

Attire: JJF Shirt, Black/Tan Pants (clean/no holes/tears), Soft Shoes/Tennis shoes/Skechers

Salary Range: $15-$17/hour + tips

Qualifications:

Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an incredible guest experience.

Passion for hospitality.

Detail oriented.

We require drug testing, corporate orientation, first aid and CPR training. All of our positions require the above duties/skills and qualifications but are not limited to those listed above.
