Market Intelligence Manager

Visa Direct is a suite of end-to-end solutions empowering integrated experiences to transform the future of money movement and help clients reach billions of endpoints. These solutions leverage Visa’s capabilities to enable domestic and cross-border use cases, including person-to-person transfers, disbursements, and collections.Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (sending and receiving financial institutions, processors, merchants, and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to accounts around the world using push payment technology. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g., payouts to shared economy providers), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements), and more. The Market Intelligence Manager will be a member of the Global Market Intel. and Commercial Strategy team. The role is a key contributor to defining strategies that allow Visa Direct to compete in specific market landscapes. He/she provides thought leadership, market intelligence, data analysis, critical thinking and drives global initiatives that allows Visa Direct to complete globally.   Responsibilities include:Conduct deep dive analyses across a range of business growth and operational areas as needed to identify key trends, issues, and opportunitiesManage thought leadership initiatives to help the broader team stay up to speed with the latest news and industry trends related to real time paymentsCollaborate closely with other global and regional teams to provide thought leadership, research, industry analysis and other initiatives that help Visa Direct expand globally.Support the identification and quantification of potential revenue and business opportunities that can accelerate the time-to-market and can address specific market needsDevelop a functional understanding of Visa’s business model, its technology, digital assets/capabilities, new payment technologies, and economic models. This is a hybrid position.
