Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team on a PRN status assisting clients at their private residence across the Northern Virginia area. However, for the right candidate, other more permanent part-time and full-time opportunities may become available in the future. The ideal candidate will be passionate about home care, have excellent communication skills, and possess a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding

- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with other staff

- Assist with non-medical procedures as directed by the nurse aide coordinator and/or by the registered nurse

- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols

Requirements

- CNA certification from a state accredited school or licensed in the state of Virginia

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- CPR or BLS certification

- Proof of completed TB test with a negative result

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and caring demeanor

- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and moving clients

- Reliable and punctual

- Newly graduated CNAs with no experience are highly encouraged to apply
