For more information about the firm please visit our website atNuveen is seeking to hire an Analyst, Real Estate Product, to focus on product development and management, as well as support the continued growth of Nuveen’s real estate initiatives and offerings in the U.S. Reporting to the Global Head of Real Estate Product, the Analyst will be pivotal in the implementation, execution, and ongoing management of various open-end and closed-end real estate private equity and debt funds.Essential to the role is an ability to create and articulate strategic plans relating to existing and future products, taking into consideration multiple client channels, industry, market, regulatory, and economic trends. In addition, the role will support established products from a governance and business performance perspective.A key deliverable is the oversight and execution of product development initiatives, including fund launches, repositioning of existing products, and innovating new ideas in partnership with senior investment, distribution, legal, marketing, operations, and finance teams. The candidate must have excellent relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions, businesses, and management levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Support in the development and management of real estate investment products with a focus on profitability, marketability, and governance Evaluate and assist in the execution of new products and partnership opportunities that align with the overall firm and Nuveen Real Estate’s strategies Conduct research and analysis of industry trends, competitors and peer performance, and investment vehicle characteristics to support product development activities Create and prepare detailed presentations, proposals, and recommendations Perform financial analysis of new product initiatives Ensure products are compliant with regulatory requirements Serve as subject matter expert on assigned products with internal and external partners, as well as clients Manage detailed project pipeline in support of product design, development, and repositioning initiatives Drive overall product management of key initiatives and synthesize information by liaising with cross-functional teams, including representatives from portfolio management, legal, compliance, client services, finance, distribution, and marketing Assist broader real estate product team through various business management tasksQUALIFICATIONS:Required Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study (Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics preferred) 2+ years of experience in real estate, finance or related business position Possess working knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals and terminology Highly proficient in performing financial analysis in Excel, strong presentation skills in PowerPoint, and in Word Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners and represent the firm in a professional manner Team player who embraces collaboration with other functional teams to drive product development, implementation, and governance Highly motivated with the ability to set priorities and multi-task, while proactively addressing current projects and deadlines Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management Must possess a high-level of integrity and professionalismPreferred Institutional real estate experience MBA, MS Real Estate, CPA and/or CFA a plus FINRA Series 7 and 63 preferred Must be self-directed with ability to escalate as neededEqual Employment Opportunity is not just the law, it’s our commitment.
