This role requires expert level communication, organization and critical thinking skills. Must be a self-starter, with ability to track and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.Looking for someone who is well organized, with solid experience providing executive level presentations and status reporting. STRATEGIC:• Develops projects in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives.• Builds support to influence decisions in order to ensure work toward common objectives.• Proactively informs and influences others in order to maintain the balance required between business needs; project partner strategy and standards; and financial requirements and budgets.• Facilitates strategic planning with internal customers for deployment of information technologies and/or major services and products.MANAGEMENT:• Manage client expectations from initial problem identification and through the project and software development lifecycle.• Develop and gain sponsor approval and sign-off of the project charter and work breakdown schedule.• Manage projects and programs with increased complexity, strategic priority and/or visibility, system and/or regional priority.• Develops and leads the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes.• Builds and manages multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and/or work teams.• Coordinates the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies and schedule.• Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans.• Develops, initiates and manages a communication plan, including regular project status reports.• Delivers appropriate integration, training and implementation plans and activities.• Manages stakeholders and multiple project teams in the context of a single project.• Acts as a coach and mentor as needed.OPERATIONAL:• Develops root cause analyses and process improvement plans.• Maintains all project artifacts.• Identifies, delivers and documents organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project.• Prepares and delivers presentations to senior leadership, management and stakeholders.• Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE:• Ten or more years of experience leading large, diverse and complex technical software projects is required.• Technical expertise with Azure, AzureSQL, AGF, Snowflake, data modeling, etc.• Experience in incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects; Certifications in process optimization such as Six Sigma, Lean, CQIA or other nationally recognized certifications preferred.• Experience facilitating complex decisions making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities is essential.LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATIONS:• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:• Superior judgment, problem solving and cognitive skills.• Skilled in strategic planning, program management, group motivation, discipline and diplomacy.• Superb written and oral communication skills on interpersonal and technical levels.• Experienced in vendor/contract management and negotiations.• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and align with an organization, its structure and priorities.• Advanced leadership skills, with the ability to successfully serve as a coach and mentor to colleagues and others.• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.• Exercises sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation.• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning.• Demonstrated success managing other project managers, project portfolios and/or multiple projects simultaneously.• Experience developing and implementing benchmarks and metrics in support of improved quality and process design.• Excellent written and oral communication that is excellent in the areas of timeliness, accuracy, professionalism.• Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle.• Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes.• Ability to understand business or clinical strategies and plans, and their relationship to organizational strategies.• Ability to analyze and report on foreseeable future implications of current decisions.
