Java Microservice Developer

Job Description - Java Microservice Developer - FTE position Minimum 7 years professional experience required Multiple Locations • 7+ years of hands on experience on Java 8, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Framework, Webservices (SOAP & REST), Spring Boot and MicroService Development • At least 3 years hands on experience working with Spring Framework • Familiarity with Agile/Jira/Scrums is mandatory • Should be able to work as individual contributor as well as team player and co-ordinate with client stakeholders (client managers, SME, Architect, Business) and offshore team. • Should have good analytical skills, should be able to debug the application and understand the concepts. • High proficiency with object-oriented analysis and design methodologies, and design patterns • Experience with Test Driven Development • Proficiency with developing unit test cases using JUnit, HTTPUnit or JWebUnit • Proficiency with source code management system e.g. GitHub • Proficiency with IDEs like Eclipse or Intellij, TOAD • Good English communication skills • Experience in developing and implementing SOA solutions • Design and development of API's on API Management platform (APIGEE/WSO2/similar) • Participate early in the API lifecycle and perform software development and ensure code quality • Database design and development using RDBMS or NOSQL's (mongo) • Perform mapping and design of specs for transformation between API Gateway and back-end service Employee Status : Full Time Employee Shift : Day Job Travel : No Job Posting : Oct 13 2020About CognizantCognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the world's leading professional services companies, transforming clients' business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
