Software Engineer to their team providing support to the music industry. This role will be remote initially, but has the chance to go back on-site in Washington D.C. The new software platform is a set of cloud-native, federated systems that are highly scalable, accurate, and modular, leveraging both custom-built and 3rd party components. We are seeking an individual contributor to join our growing engineering team to continue leading software strategy and development for this client. We hope that you are an experienced software engineer who excels in a dynamic, fast-moving, agile, and DevOps environment and are passionate about developing high quality, scalable software.< class="iCIMSInfoMsg iCIMSInfoFieldJob">Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience and strong proficiency with Python (preferred), Ruby, Javascript or other dynamic language ecosystem.
  • 4+ years experience with Django (preferred), Flask, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS or other web application framework.
  • 4+ years experience with relational data models and databases. Must have rudimentary knowledge of SQL.
  • Bonus points for experience with enterprise software development and integration of other systems via REST web services.
  • 4+ years experience in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices.
