Sr DevOps/Software Engineer

The position will report directly to the VP of Application Development and will be responsible for: planning and implementing our modernized digital infrastructure; working with the IT team and business leadership to help create secure and scalable solutions; and utilizing multiple cloud service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Strong DevOps and Leadership skills with 8+ years of experience
- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline tools and workflows
- Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components
- AWS Certification and/or relevant experience in AWS Application hosting services (EC2, S3, RDS etc.), AWS Toolkit, CodeBuild/Deploy and CloudFormation
- Source Control Management using Gitlab-based tools (branching and merging strategies)
- Test automation tools like Xunit, Selenium, LoadRunner
- Code analysis and review tools (Codacy, Crucible)
- DevSecOps experience and knowledge on eCommerce security best practices
- Previous Incident Response experience (DR/BCP)
- Automating build, test, deploy activities for PHP, MySQL
- Cloud infrastructure management with Rackspace, AWS
- Establish 24x7x365 monitoring / alerting of any production issues using AppOptics, New Relic
- Serve as the primary escalation point for any performance our outage-related events
- Understand managing database schema changes and how to propagate those from Dev to STAGE to PROD.
- Solid and demonstrated experience building systems utilizing container services in Kubernetesci
