Engineering Manager – Industrial Automation Description:Direct Hire. This is a leadership role with responsibility for the conceptual and detail design of custom equipment across multiple engineering disciplines. Systems include automated material handling and chemical process equipment used for surface finishing processes in the semiconductor, medical, and industrial markets. Role will deliver exposure to the full life cycle of a project from concept through fabrication. Responsibilities:- Leadership of multi-discipline engineering team, project management, and system design authority.
Skills & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in design of automated chemical process and/or material handling equipment
- At least 5 years of experience in a management/team leader role
- Proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks and 2D drafting with AutoCAD
- Proven successful Project Management experience utilizing the Waterfall method
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of commercially available components including fluid handling, motion control, process control, and SCADA
- Familiarity with automated batch and continuous systems for electroplating, anodizing, electropolishing, and related surfacing finishing operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 15%)
