SUMMARYIn the role of Software Architect at Dentsply Sirona, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements gathering, Application Architecture definition, Solution Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts and help guide the overall ecommerce architecture strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for ecommerce platform architecture and solutions
  • Works in collaboration with other architects to define, design and implement industry best practices
  • Mentor developers and junior architects to drive total team principles
  • Works in collaboration with business analysts, vendor partners, internal teams towards on-time delivery
  • Technical advisor to the leadership team to outline industry and technology trends
  • Serve as knowledge expert for sourcing “deep dive” solution architecture information, including issues/questions arising from globalization, localization and other requested enhancements
  • Serve as knowledge expert for any integration related to the eCommerce platform
  • Communicate effectively and clearly to IT/business stakeholders as appropriate about architecture solutions and strategy
  • Implementing security best practices that aligns with our ability to deliver products and services to our customer.

TYPICAL BACKGROUND
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics & Target in various functionalities
  • At least 5 years of experience with code development in Java technologies including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, Core Java, Struts/Tiles or other Java-based UI framework and other J2EE technologies
  • At least 5 years of experience in in HTML 5, XHTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS with understanding of user-centered design principles
  • At least 4 year of experience working in Agile methodology projects and worked on Sprints
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
