Senior User Experience Designer / Architect We are looking for a SR. UX Designer that has a passion for crafting amazing and inclusive user experiences for modern enterprise applications in the financial services industry. We want you to use that passion to participate in structuring and conducting user research and then translating research insights into user flows, wireframes and prototypes. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of other designers, engineers, and product leaders to understand business strategies and user needs, and to transform these into usable design solutions. We are a team who are curious, collaborative and critical thinkers. You'll get to work alongside engineers, designers and client-facing teams who are all working to redefine how enterprise applications are designed and built in a user-centric way. Candidates should have a portfolio demonstrating their ability to solve business challenges through design. Responsibilities:

  • Be a design leader and champion of UX and Product Design best practices within the organization
  • Help coach and mentor more junior team members
  • Identify design problems and create elegant solutions
  • Design user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes
  • Take a user-centered approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
  • Create effective, professional UI designs
  • Help design and lead workshops to collaboratively solve challenges and concept design solutions
  • Lead the design and execution of user research and usability studies
  • Work with and contribute to the organization's Design System
  • Collaborate across design, engineering, and product teams within an Agile environment
  • Keep up to date with modern trends and industry best practices
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience creating digital products and web apps
  • Strong critical and design thinking skills
  • Experience leading workshops and UX research efforts
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Prior experience with responsive/adaptive web design and mobile applications
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe CC, Figma, Framer, etc.
  • Have a passion for technology and modern interaction design
  • Be a lifelong learner and have a strong sense of curiosity - you're someone who is constantly asking "why?" and takes the time to investigate
  • UX writing experience a bonus
