We are currently seeking a Director - Enterprise Architect, FS Consulting to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).In this role you will be part of a Consulting team responsible for defining overall information technology and business architecture solutions within our Financial Services Consulting (FS) client organizations. You will be part of the Consulting team and will translate client business requirements into a strategic view that drives organizational, process, and technology changes. You will act as an advocate for our clients, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. You will provide direction and oversight for design activities. Develop and lead the implementation of technology governance and standards that have an operational and financial impact and ensures compliance with standards. This person works with our clients and internal teams/practices to develop future business solutions supported by a value proposition. This includes translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for business and technical solutions. You will work with all areas of Financial Services Consulting and act as the SME to help develop solutions for our clients. This might include our FS clients and internal Sales, Consulting, Digital, and Client leaders to analyze requirements from an Industry domain point of view. Also, responsible for leading the design of integrated, innovative solutions to meet client objectives while balancing the requirements of excellent service delivery. You will work very closely with Sales, Digital, Consulting and Delivery teams to support new sales opportunities and existing account expansion opportunities. Finally, you will lead solutioning across business architecture, data architecture and technical architecture with input from principal architects. Overall, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect that possesses deep Financial Services domain knowledge complimented with technical knowledge while leveraging SME specific technical architects. This person will be part of the consulting team that works with the client determining current state and how we can use technology to solve business problems. This will include understanding the trends and overall FS business along with being able to communicate effectively with technology to build out solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Contributes to the Financial Services vertical sales pursuit strategy and drives the sales cycle together with Financial Services Sales, Digital, Consulting, and Client leaders
- Participates or leads in client presentations at the senior management level or higher - both business and technical
- Leads a team of horizontal capability solution architects in the design of complex services solutions
- Sets business, data and technical solution strategy aligned with an opportunity sales strategy
- Participates with pursuit team in customer meetings, advocates NTT Data point of view and articulates our differentiation from a business and technical perspective
- Understands competitive analysis and proactively positions of our solutions to improve our win rate and close rate
- Creates solution design assets for internal use to accelerate sales cycle and improve solution quality
- Familiar with industry trends and new developments and uses this knowledge in developing differentiated solutions for opportunities
- Collaborates with analysts to understand the future direction of business and technology while also sharing our offerings with analysts to position us in the market, e.g. Novarica, Gartner, Celent
Basic Qualifications: - 15+ years of overall experience defining IT and business architecture solutions
- 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry building solutions for Retail Banking and/or Commercial Banking, Lending, Credit Cards, and Deposit.
- Information Technology Services/Consulting experience in application and/or infrastructure services that including components such as: integration, migration to cloud, application modernization/rationalization, data & analytics, RPA, AI, IOT, desktop engineering and field services, service desk, data center, etc.
- 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect analyzing business challenges with the purpose of developing business and technology strategies involving an ecosystem of internal solutions and 3rd party business partner solutions (software vendors) which required evaluating financial impact and strength of the overall value proposition of the solution.
- Prior years' experience working in a consulting organization where you led pre-sales solutioning that required creating the value proposition, presenting to client leaders, understanding of sales strategies, managing solution's team response, cost models, and risk factors.
- Experience working with industry analyst relation firms (e.g. Celent, Novarica, Gartner
Location: - Flexible on location, but prefer the Northeast.
