Be a part of our expansion into new markets!The Market Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for maximizing current customer relationships and for cultivating new or competitive accounts all while maximizing sales potential with in an assigned territory.The MDM is a primary external adjacent market (ADJM) representative of Radiometer and must convey a sense of expertise in products and services serving as a key educator to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesGrow market share to win competitive conversions and achieve annual revenue targets by utilizing value selling for all assigned product lines in both the current market and in ADJMs including Veterinary segment.

Develop strategic networks to maximize new business and growth initiatives.

Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain and accurately forecast and develop a robust 30-60-90 day sales funnel.

Occasionally support special business development (BD) projects

Use install base and relationships across products within Radiometer as well as across other Danaher operating companies, in order to improve visibility, customer intimacy and win-rates.

Introduce new business to Radiometer product lines while driving favorable pricing and contract coordination per standard work

Ability to immediately teach Radiometer software to customers

Anticipated responsibilities will be 90% selling and funnel development within ADJM and 10% cross-functional collaboration

Plan, organize and execute sales calls and lead key accounts throughout the sales cycle.

Position RequirementsMinimum five(5) years sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device or academia and research. Background must include capital equipment sales. Veterinary experience preferred.

Strong understanding of BioProcess, therapeutic drug development, veterinary and agriculture market experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree required - Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or other scientific major preferred

Detailed understanding of Radiometer's automated quality management (AQM) preferred.

Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), iOS/OS skills, and internet skills; database and CRM experience. You will be provided a company phone.

Travel estimated at 50-70% or greater including some overnight travel and 10% of travel being outside of the US

Participation in the Company’s automobile program is a requirement of this position. You will receive a company car to conduct company business in accordance with the program provided that you meet the eligibility requirements of the program.

Strong written, oral and technical presentation skills.

Possess strategic and tactical planning skills necessary to validate forecast activity.

Ability to handle a territory from a home office maintaining strong ties to customers, management and headquarters using all issued technology.

Successfully complete company training on products, services and procedures

Exploit solution sales techniques

Must be able to lift or maneuver 40 lbs
