Magnolia, Inc. and Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. and operate out of multiple locations, dispatching approximately 200 service and construction vehicles throughout the Washington and Baltimore Region.The Waste Water Management Division of Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. is hiring for a Salesperson. Ideally the best candidate will have journeyman level experience in any of the related fields; Plumbing, Stormwater Management Structures, Grease Interceptors, Water Jetting. The basic function of the salesperson is to project the anticipated costs of each job quoted to derive at a selling price while providing standards for the field crews and preparing an overall schedule that will ensure on-time completion of each job.Job Responsibilities:Meeting all of the profit and growth objectives as established by management
Estimating the cost for jobs in a manner that ensures that all material, standard labor, overhead and profit are taken into consideration and reflect current conditions
Preparing the cost estimates/bids in a timely manner
Actively pursuing new clients/bid as well as keeping good communication with company generated clients
Remain current on the price of materials and changes in overhead factors in order to have current information for estimating purposes
Review the SOW and contract value of client issued contracts in response to salesman issued proposals
Comparing actual times to complete the various job phases with the estimates in order to have the most accurate and current information on how long it takes each job phase
Ensuring that all company policies and sales procedures are followed
Presenting a professional image at all times
Being mindful of safety requirements at all times
Obtain signed contracts for work to be performed
Review payment terms with client for each job sold
Flexibility in schedule to accommodate opportunity/lead requests
Requirements:Industry experience (Plumbing, Stormwater, Grease Interceptors, or Water Jetting)
High School Diploma or equivalent
BS or trade related education strongly preferred
At least 2 years of experience in sales environment
Professional/effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems
Ability to organize and prioritize work
