Senior Technical Consultant - AEC

job summary:Client Consulting is seeking a talented Senior Technical Consultant to provide technical consulting services to key customers in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) domain. This individual will work directly with customers to offer consulting services including requirements definition, software design, code/software development and testing activities and technical documentation activities.As a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, Client helps people imagine, design, and create a better world. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture or related degree.
• 5-7 years' experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry.
• 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced high-performing consulting environment preferred.

• strong .NET skills.
• strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• ONE OR MORE OF FOLLOWING - strong knowledge of Client AEC products and APIs including BIM 360, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks and their APIs).
• Practical experience with database technologies is preferred.
• Experience in web development is helpful.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall and/or Agile
• Experience with version control systems/Git is preferred.

• Proven ability to design, develop and test workflows for and implement practical business solutions.

• Ability to interpret software architecture and design (use cases/FRS) documents to produce quality software.
• Create code documentation including user guide as required in engagement.

• Deliver customized and configured solutions on top of Client core products in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) domain.
• Work with customers to gathering and determining customer business and technical requirements, producing written specifications to capture business requirements for proposed solutions and configuration activities, supporting solution development and deployment activities including delivery, acceptance testing, training and user-support.
• Development of solution architecture, detailing solution design, and documenting development and implementation plans with estimates.
• Based on this specialized knowledge of Client's AEC products and their Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), perform the role of a Subject Matter Expert for the Client product / cloud platform APIs.
• Build credibility at all levels with clients and establish a problem-solving relationship with clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to Client IP and assets through methods development and sales collateral.
• Deliver training and adoption efforts for customers.
• Create documentation as appropriate for solutions developed.
• Travel not necessary, all delivery will be remote/web meeting.
