Includes but not limited to full Dental / Medical Insurance, 401k, Flexible VacationVisa Sponsorship not available at this time The Senior Systems Engineer is a key member of the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) team responsible for the design, administration, and support of our technology infrastructure. The Senior System Engineer will play a strategic role in the pending migration from our current on-premise architecture to one based on cloud technologies and will assume responsibility for managing the cloud-based infrastructure as it is rolled out.Required Technical Skills:

  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in IT is preferred; Experience working in Azure environments highly desirable
  • Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of operating systems, storage area networking, virtualization, workstations (configuration and connectivity), network file servers, applicable software, and trouble-shooting techniques
  • Experience in implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including compute, storage, network and security services is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of backup, restore, recovery and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments
  • Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services
  • Experience managing Azure AD and other authentication platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with managing Linux systems
  • College degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications: Microsoft, EMC and VMware preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
  • A business-oriented mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques
