job summary:Our Healthcare Client has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Senior Principal Data Architect. Ideal candidates will have three years of relevant experience with enterprise wide integration architecture and at least one year of leadership. This position will support our product, sales, leadership, operation teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. location: Southfield, Michiganjob type: Permanentsalary: $125,000 - 140,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Masters responsibilities:The Senior Principal Architect (Data) serves the company as an advisor to support our product, sales, leadership, operation teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. . It will provide overall direction, guidance, definition, and facilitation for the development of architecture required to meet product strategies and goals. The role will identify, support, and analyze business drivers, data platforms, technology strategies, and current technology environment, and is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for adhering to corporate architecture standards, ensuring technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization, and contributing to corporate architecture strategy-setting.
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Lead the company's projects on ML/AI/Predictive Analytics
  • Leads to the development of holistic blueprints in coordination with the domain architects. Coordinates with other Plans and strategic partners, identifying opportunities for shared solutions.
  • Leads and coordinates the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
  • Guides data strategy development and ensure alignment with architectural strategy and business goals.
  • Analyzes, design, and develops a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Defines principles that guide technology decisions and the relationship between enterprise business context (industry and market trends) and specified technology leads in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions including providing detailed analysis of pros and cons and build vs buy options.
  • Participates in the business strategic planning cycle, gaining an understanding of common issues, drivers, imperatives, and objectives across the enterprise.
  • Maintains operational, architectural, and design documentation including procedures, task lists, and blueprints.
  • Continually works to enhance the breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Benchmarks technology strategies and architectures. Monitors and anticipates trends and investigates organizational objectives and needs. Prepares benchmarking reports and presentations.
  • Promotes the implementation of new technology, solutions, and methods to improve business processes, efficiency, effectiveness, and value delivered to customers.
  • Develops actual working solutions or prototypes based on their own designs and resolves any issues that arise.
  • Provides technical guidance to the subordinate group.
  • Stays updated on current technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Provides technical leadership and works effectively with different teams including Product Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers.
  • Fosters a healthy, collaborative and productive scrum team culture
  • Works with other leads in a project setting to define and execute a software architecture that is sustainable, flexible, and scalable
  • Leads the key initiative design, highly capable to complete tasks both independently with minimal guidance and leading a team technically
  • Exchanges information clearly and precisely, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques.
