Reporting Analyst

job summary:The Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing and converting data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions. They will also be responsible for creating reporting dashboards and maintaining relationship databases and systems. The Reporting Analyst will have to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure, and timelines. location: TUSTIN, Californiajob type: Permanentsalary: $60,000 - 65,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:

• Responsible for ongoing operational reporting.
• Publish daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly business metrics.
• Generate industry data analysis reports. Including but not limited to sales, inventory, customer service, store traffic, and so on. These reports allow the company to spot trends.
• Develop reports that compare descriptive data sets to identify dependencies and patterns. Provide auditing capabilities and operation compliance through data reporting and investigation.
• Produce monthly store performance data to generate Bonus calculations.
• Provide quality assurance of data and conduct data audits.
• Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Assist in the development and production of dashboards and reports.
• Distribute timely data to appropriate audience and ensure data security is maintained.
• Ensure data is maintained in the SQL Server environment to ensure access of historical information and meet record retention requirements.
