job summary:Description:REMOTE WORKEROngoing projectsUI Engineer with React ExperienceWe are building digital products to serve our brands, brokers, agents and consumers. As an UI Engineer, you will be working hands-on in a technical role to build the next generation of products in support of our Brands' Value Propositions.The role of the UI Engineer builds and implements highly scalable user interfaces for our Brands, Agents and Customers using the latest cutting-edge technologies.You'll work as part of a nimble team, contributing to large-scale initiatives that impact multiple product lines and teams across the organization. You'll work closely with Engineers, Designers and Product Managers.You should be comfortable to communicate in a clear and concise manner; this includes being comfortable engaging in regular discussions with key stakeholders; organize, manage and communicate project status, findings, and escalations on a regular basis.What you'll do:Work with Designers and Engineers to define, design and build highly scalable and action driven front end experiencesWork in cross-functional environments to design and develop new functions and features for our product linesDesign, build, and implement highly reusable and reliable codeBuild testable codeCreate and provide regular feedback loopsWhat you need to succeed:Expert technical background with hands-on development in ReactExpert understanding of REST and GraphQLExperience in Material UI preferredExpert knowledge and hands-on experience in the ES6/ES7 specificationsExpert knowledge in building flexible and scalable componentsExperience with AWSProficiency in testing toolsExperience in backend programming languagesUnderstanding of micro-service solutions and large scale, enterprise-grade applicationsExperience in CI/CD processesExperience developing in a cloud-first environment (containers, server-less)Proficiency in Project Management and ability to work in an agile development processSolid understanding and proficiency with git and other standard development toolsAbility to work quickly with an eye towards writing clean, efficient and reusable codeExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills location: Madison, New Jerseyjob type: Contractsalary: $40 - 46 per hourwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Work with Designers and Engineers to define, design and build highly scalable and action driven front end experiencesWork in cross-functional environments to design and develop new functions and features for our product linesDesign, build, and implement highly reusable and reliable codeBuild testable codeCreate and provide regular feedback loops qualifications:
