job summary:For this contract assignment, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of a new version of Hadoop (CDP 7.1.x) onto servers and copying data from one data center to another. This contractor will also be responsible for all testing (debugging), along with validation of data ingestion, where this contractor will be pulling data from Hadoop into production (PDW). location: Cleveland, Ohiojob type: Contractsalary: $47 - 57 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Associates responsibilities:
- Assisting with the Hadoop upgrade from HDP (Hortonworks Data Platform) 2.65 to CDP (Cloudera Data Platform) 7.1.x
- Test and validate that existing functionality continues to work as expected
- ?Hadoop administration (any of the recent versions)
- Cloudera Distribution experience (any version)
- RHEL 7.x Linux OS
- Previous experience upgrading Cloudera Hadoop (from one version to another) in an enterprise environment
- Hadoop administration on CDP version 7.x
- Splunk monitoring
- Back-up & Disaster Recovery (BDR)
- Ansible
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 4 years of experience
- Education: Associates
- Hadoop (4 years of experience is required)
