job summary:The Gameplay Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing new gameplay systems from start to completion. This person will review and upgrade existing systems and develop new gameplay features. This role will work closely with design, content, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional overall gameplay experiences for players.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and implement well-engineered, reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code.
  • Collaborate with team members to cultivate and improve various gameplay systems.
  • Build sustaining gameplay systems, suggest new ideas, concepts, and provide feedback.
  • Create and maintain tools for designers and artists.
  • Develop and test code, fix bugs, and profile and optimize code as directed.
  • Document and peer review technical designs with teams.
  • Provide support and communicate updates, changes, and resolve issues with the team.
  • Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks.
  • Possess and develop areas of engineering expertise.
  • Mentor other engineers as needed to increase their abilities and productivity.
  • Maintain confidentiality of gamigo's internal information
  • Follow best practices, processes, and coding standards.
  • Keep up to date on state-of-the-art software engineering methods, practices, and technologies.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, Coding or equivalent.
  • Minimum three-years of professional experience programming game features and systems.
  • Prior experience working with Unity or similar game engine technology.
  • Strong knowledge of PC and console games; familiarity with MMO and shooter games.
  • Fluent in C ,C# and other scripting languages.
  • Prior experience with version control systems.
  • Experience in Android/iOS Mobile application development, a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical and analytical skills.

  • The ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment while remaining calm and positive under pressure and meet tight deadlines at all times.
