Assistant production and quality manager

Manufacturer seeks an assistant production and quality manager to assist with daily production.

Responsibilities -

Assist shop manager with setup of daily production assignments

Oversee that production quality standards are maintained

Make sure all employees have everything they need to do their assignments.

Review job orders to follow customer requirements

Monitor machines for proper operation

Oversee that machine maintenance is maintained and work area is kept clean

Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced;

Qualifications:

Bilingual a must (English/Spanish)

Have worked in a Manufactuing environment (cutting presses and packaging knowledge helpful)

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications;

Forklift experience helpful

Strong attention to detail and quality;

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;

Must be reliable and able to work overtime when needed.

Hours: 8 am - 4:30 PM Mon-Fri.
