We are looking for a Foam Fabricator Assistant to work alongside our Head Fabricator in cutting and preparing foam materials. This is a full-time position that requires being on your feet for most of the day and may include helping in other warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities / Responsabilidades:

Assist in operating vertical/horizontal band saws and contour saws

Ayudar a operar sierras de cinta verticales/horizontales y sierras de contorno

Read and follow basic work orders

Leer y seguir órdenes de trabajo básicas

Measure foam using a ruler and understand fractions

Medir espuma con una regla y entender fracciones

Use basic math and calculate material yields

Usar matemáticas básicas y calcular el rendimiento del material

Identify and handle different types of foam

Identificar y manejar diferentes tipos de espuma

Move and lift large foam buns (requires strength)

Mover y levantar bloques grandes de espuma (requiere fuerza física)

Operate or learn to operate a forklift

Operar o aprender a operar un montacargas

Perform light maintenance tasks (cleaning, greasing machines)

Realizar tareas ligeras de mantenimiento (limpieza, engrase de máquinas)

Assist with general warehouse duties

Apoyar en tareas generales del almacén

Requirements / Requisitos:

Reliable and on-time / Puntual y responsable

Able to stand and work on your feet for 8 hours / Capaz de estar de pie y activo durante 8 horas

Physically able to lift and move materials / Físicamente capaz de mover materiales

Understand basic measurements (ruler, fractions) / Comprender medidas básicas (regla, fracciones)

Basic math knowledge and ability to calculate yield / Conocimiento de matemáticas básicas y capacidad para calcular el rendimiento

Willing to learn / Deseo de aprender

Forklift experience a plus (certification provided if needed)

Experiencia con montacargas es una ventaja (ofrecemos certificación)

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred – Spanish-only speakers welcome
