New York Paint and Hardware is a family business that has been serving the Upper East Side for over 40 years.

We currently have 2 locations with intent to open more.

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our 87nd and 1nd ave location

As a Sales Associate your duties will include executing sales, ordering and managing merchandise,

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate that must possess the following skills/qualities:

Excellent communication skills

Extensive experience in HARDWARE, BUILDING MATERIALS, PLUMBING and ELECTRICAL supplies

Outgoing personality with a go-getter mindset.

Be organized and have the ability to multi-task

Passion for hardware combined with knowledge of hardware and building supplies.

Responsibilities:

Work in the retail store daily, including closing and opening of the store

With with small staff in daily operations such as cleaning, organizing, and store maintenance

Ordering and managing merchandise

Actively build and maintain relationships with clients and accounts

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE HARDWARE FIELD
