The Application / Calibration Engineer is responsible for the application parameters for a part or a vehicle, applies parameters to a part or a vehicle and submits application parameters for internal and external releases for a part or a vehicle.Responsibilities:Define the right set of parameters to achieve the best performance of a customer end function in a vehicle under consideration of the customer requirements.
Participate in the Functional Core Team
Supports the planning process of timing and cost
Develops an initial and virtual set of parameters based on customer data and simulation tools
Validates the static geometry and dynamic behavior of the vehicle, the position of relevant components
Defines the parameters of a generic system and applies it for each customer vehicle variant
Performs and documents statistical testing of parameters of customer end functions
Creates a final report documenting all results of the application process as described above
Implements and maintains application data in data handling tools
Plans, performs and drives reviews of application data until release of application data
Requirements:Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Systems Engineering, Application or Calibration Engineering in the Automotive Industry at the supplier or OEM level.
Experience on calibration tools and calibration data management
2-years experience with System Application / Calibration
