Environmental Scientist with SCUBA experience

Grette Associates, LLC is a 13 person environmental consulting firm, consisting of biologists and administrative staff, with over 30 years of experience throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest. We are currently looking for a motivated biologist to join the Tacoma office. The successful applicant would be responsible for:

Field research including wetland delineation and plant identification

Data organization

Technical writing

Literature review

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

At least 3 years of professional experience in a natural resource-related field.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

SCUBA certification.

The applicant should:

Be enthusiastic and willing to learn

Possess excellent written/oral communication skills

Be able to perform efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Be familiar with aquatic and coastal environments of the Pacific Northwest

Be willing to work long hours in occasionally inclement conditions

Small boat operation experience is preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS is helpful as well. The biologist position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
