An equal opportunity company in Florida is currently seeking full-time Maintenance of Traffic Workers to perform temporary traffic control operations in Mobile, Alabama. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures and safety guidelines. Company will conduct Background check, MVR and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to pass a background and criminal record check, MVR and Controlled Substance test.

Valid driver's license (for driver applicants only) - State issued ID card is accepted for non-drivers

Maintain company standards post-employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing.

High School Diploma/GED.

Communicate clearly both written and verbally.

Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.

Maintenance of safety equipment required for each job.

Capable of working individually and as a team with other employees.

Ability to adjust to changing work schedule.

Ability to work outdoors, overtime, work safely under adverse environmental and weather conditions. Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds; manual labor is required.

Ability to operate hand/power tools.

Ability to work from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds.

Preferred Experience:

MOT Advanced certification and/or 3-5 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry (i.e. Road Construction, Highway Maintenance, Construction.)
