Patient Care Technician$2,000 Sign-On Bonus - Float/Resource Team, Full-time, Nights (Winfield, IL)

Job Description

Performs unit-based reception, clerical, and medical record functions. Is customer oriented and able to communicate with all levels of staff, patients and their families. Serves as liaison between patient care units and all other departments. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Flexibility to float to multiple units. Night shift - ability to walk to multiple units during the shift.

Qualifications

Requirements: Minimum: Certified nursing assistant in the state of Illinois or nursing student with at least 1 clinical rotation completed; Preferred: Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience as a PCT or HUC. Education: Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent. Licensure: Minimum: CERT CNA,CERT BLS
