compensation: starting pay is 13.00 - 14.00 per hour

employment type:full-time hours are 9-6 and part-time hours are 12-6 only, Monday-Friday

Are you looking to advance your teaching skills and work in a play-based environment that supports and encourages children's inborn curiosity? At the Strauss Center for Early Childhood Education we believe children learn best when they are emotionally supported by a skilled teacher and when their environment is rich with opportunities for exploration and experimentation. As such, we maintain a very low teacher-child ratio and offer onsite professional development and coaching to teaching staff in an emotionally safe, kind, and supportive environment.

Currently, we are seeking teachers for our expanding infant and toddler programs. Teachers who are familiar with Quality First accreditation are preferred.

Eligible applicants must have:

- A current TB test

- A fingerprint clearance card

- AA or BA in early childhood education or a related field (or currently working towards)

- An understanding of child development

- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
