Credentialed Chemical Dependency Counselor

Position Overview

Manages a caseload of patients and completes assessments, problem lists, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, progress notes, discharge plans and discharge summaries. Actively participates in up to four times a week staffings, bi-weekly supervison, completed treatment plans and treatment plan reviews for staff discussion and approval.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

Associates Degree in Applied Science in Chemical Dependency or related field.

Preferred:

2 years’ experience working in a chemical dependency setting.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
