Experienced Grading Superintendent

Grading/Excavation General Contractor- seeking superintendent with 2 years grading and construction supervision experience.

General Responsibilities: Manage the utilization of personnel and equipment on grading/excavation projects to meet performance objectives for project completion. Identify and address any problems affecting operation and provide detailed communication with clients and in-house management regarding project status. Work with the project manager and estimating team to implement strategies and maximize job profitability, based on contracted scope of work.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

2 years experience in grading and excavation, as well as construction supervision.

Must be able to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.

Proficient in use of grade checking tools, including GPS and Laser.

Ability to maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.

Ability to communicate with others efficiently and effectively at varying technical levels.

Coordinate and delegate daily tasks according to priorities and project schedule.

Ability to work independently, make complex, immediate and informed decisions, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel.

Creative, intuitive, with good documentation and communication skills.

Applicants MUST have previous experience in grading, excavation or paving, construction supervision. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required for company vehicle.

Project Locations Vary within Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties.
